Here's a thread question then - which Aliens/Monsters/Villains from both the Classic and New Series would you like to see make a return during Peter's first series as the Doctor?

For me, the Rani and the Celestial Toymaker. Even though I didn't see the Celestial Toymaker, as I've noted before, he sounds like an interesting character.

Sontarans. No, not The Sontaran Stratagem/The Poison Sky "RAAAAAH, SONTAR-HA!" Sontarans, or even Strax Sontarans (though more Strax is a good thing), but the Robert Holmes Sontarans.

Yes please! I want Sontarans vs Rutans vs Daleks vs Cybermen fighting for the dominance of the universe.

Torchwood is good and a very interesting premise. Unlike Doctor Who, RTD really comes into his own there because everyone is a human and RTD can write those well. Like we noted, he's a good writer when he can write his own domestic science fiction- and that's what Torchwood is.

Oh, please. I've seen 5 different Sy-Fy shows exactly like Torchwood. And they didn't have an annoying manslut for a main character.

From the bits of dialogue I've read from The Evil of the Daleks, the Doctor has a pleasant chat with some Daleks.

They tease him.

I honestly loved the last 3 Doctors, and I don't know how to feel about the new one yet. I heard he's terribly funny though, but I would have to see that for myself. I can't wait to see what they've planned for the show now though. Get's you all tingly thinking about it. Either way, I'm cautious but steady for the new Doctor. Bring it on, BBC.

It's gonna' be a while until I get to Dark Eyes.

I want to watch Eight's audios in chronological, or at least release, order to track his development better.

I mean, Five, Six, Seven - I know how they end. Big Finish just retroactively gives them depth. Eight, on the other hand, who the hell knows?
