It's a great story.

I mean, goofy in the 60s way you'd expect, but well-developed and pretty tense.

I'll second NSLV, really loved it. Troughton is brilliant in both roles.

I'm not sure how it got that from the name I typed it, but Senter sounds like a cool name. And y'all be jealous of Type 80 TARDIS. I wonder how I convince companions to enter my children's playhouse.

You are the Renegade Time Lord known as:
The Door
Your original Gallifreyan name is Kelkathtrezflorullaell, or Kelkath for short.
Back on Gallifrey, you led a dull and uninteresting life, working as an Archivist, First Class – but now, you travel Time and Space in search of adventure!
Your Type 35 TARDIS is currently stuck in disguise as a beautifully carved stone sundial, and your latest travelling companion is a recently escaped female prisoner, who is using her voyages as a way of avoiding recapture.

...The Door? Seriously?
My companion sounds somewhat similar to Lady de Souza, to be honest.

EDIT: Random name:
You are the Renegade Time Lord known as:

Your original Gallifreyan name is Azdrathorquaplorstrumobi, or Azdrath for short.
Back on Gallifrey, you led a dull and uninteresting life, working as a TARDIS repair technician – but now, you travel Time and Space in search of adventure!
Your Type 104 TARDIS is currently stuck in disguise as a 14th century gothic cathedral, and your latest travelling companion is a tough, resourceful, 68-year old grandmother who isn't letting old age stop her seeing the universe.

Type 104, 14th century gothic cathedral, female version of Wilf. Now that would be an interesting show.

Here's what I got:

"You are the Renegade Time Lord known as: THE ADMINISTRATOR

Your original Gallifreyan name is Dunloperunperunobiateri, or Dunlop for short.

Back on Gallifrey, you led a dull and uninteresting life, working as a TARDIS conceptual technician - but now, you travel Time and Space in search of adventure!

Your Type 39 TARDIS is currently stuck in disguise as a gypsy caravan, and your latest travelling companion is a plucky nurse from the Crimean War, with a passion for adventure and a habit of yelling "Lawks!"

Okay... I don't mind the name, even if it sounds a tad authoritarian, but my TARDIS is crappy and my companion sounds generic and like she'll get annoying real fast, decent backstory notwithstanding.

Going to try again and see if I can get something better.

Your TARDIS looks like a space shuttle? That is completely awesome but entirely useless for keeping a low profile.

True, and I imagine the temptation to join the myriads of Time Lords going Renegade from every level of Time Lord Society was just too much to handle for Salgin.
Then again, if some of these renegades were evil, there would be some excitement to be had in dealing with them, surely.

I finally got around to watching Enemy of the World. Some thoughts on it (spoilers included):

The quality of the sound and images wasn't always very good, though perhaps that's to be expected for something this old. And as is often the case with Doctor Who, the pacing left something to be desired. In particular, I find there's a certain unevenness in a lot of old Doctor Who. Maybe its at least partly a result of having a bunch of short episodes forming a single story.

And more seriously, I had a lot of problems with the story. Plausible plots aren't Doctor Who's strong suite a lot of the time, but I have to take issue with this. Some developments seemed to need more explanation. Salamander sometimes seemed to do evil pointlessly (and his motives, beyond wanting power and just being evil, were not well-established). And the story Salamander used on the people in the bunker underground was quite implausible. I suppose you can explain them buying it as a result of fear and indoctrination, but frankly, they came off as a pack of imbeciles (also, Jaime not confirming Salamander's identity at the end was inexcusably inept). Moreover, I'm disappointed by Salamander being behind the disasters he was using to take power. The whole thing added to the implausibility and came across as Right-wing anti-environmentalist propaganda. Its reminiscent of the people who think global warming isn't real. I think it would have been more plausible, subtle, and nuanced if Salamander had not been faking the disasters but legitimately saved the world while taking advantage of disasters to gain power as was suggested early on.

However, the flaws of the story were somewhat mitigated by some strong performances and characterization.

Troughton handled playing two major roles quite well. I especially liked how his initial attempt to impersonate Salamander didn't really sound like Salamander, as if it actually was a beginner's attempt at imitating him. Some good subtlety and attention to detail there. Plus handing the gun back to the security commander rather than threatening him with it, while a little implausible/heavy-handed, was classic Doctor.

And I can see a resemblance between Two and Eleven, especially with Two also having a male and female duo for companions.

Also, I liked Astrid and Faria (I'm not sure about the spelling of her name). One wouldn't necessarily expect competent, non-cliche female characters in an older work, but they both fit the bill. Its a pity Faria didn't make it. And, while I don't do shipping as a rule, I got a sense early on of Astrid with the Doctor that told me they could have made a fine couple, at least if romance had been more of a thing in the old series. Plus I appreciate that they had characters from a variety of ethnicities who were played like real people, not stereotypes. Yes, the black woman was a servant, but she was a lot more than that.

Giles was well-acted as well, and Salamander's head of security was an interesting fellow. He's initially portrayed as just an authoritarian thug, but he's a bit more complex than that. He's heavy-handed, sure, but he's seriously trying to do his job well and doesn't care for Salamander's scheming. I think they went too far with making him a good guy later on, but all in all, he was well-written.

Also, the special effects weren't bad at times, at least by the standards of old Doctor Who episodes. Particularly the helicopter and hover craft. I get the feeling they spent a lot of money on this episode, so its a good thing they found it again. ;)

Lastly, the end was a bit abrupt, but I admit their's a certain satisfaction to be gained from watching Salamander hurtle out of the TARDIS, lost forever.

Sorry for the long tract, but I had a lot to say about this episode.

Ultimately, I don't think I'd say its the best old series episode I've seen- that honour would probably still go to Genesis of the Daleks. But I don't regret watching it, and it has some really good moments.

Oh, and I'll make one more edit, at least. Apologies for referring to Enemy of the World as an episode. Stuck using modern vernacular. Its six episodes.

"Our progress in degeneracy appears to me to be pretty rapid. As a nation, we began by declaring that "all men are created equal." We now practically read it "all men are created equal, except negroes" When the Know-Nothings get control, it will read "all men are created equal, except negroes, and foreigners, and Catholics." When it comes to this I should prefer emigrating to some country where they make no pretence of loving liberty -- to Russia, for instance, where despotism can be taken pure, and without the base alloy of hypocracy." - President Abraham Lincoln.

Damn it, watching Two, Jaime, and Victoria has given me Eleven/Amy/Rory nostalgia.

Jumping in late on the game, I know, but I liked this outcome:

You are the Renegade Time Lord known as:
The Oracle
Your original Gallifreyan name is Narnixboraakinopyxoigo, or Narnix for short.
Back on Gallifrey, you led a dull and uninteresting life, working as an Executive Assistant to the High Council – but now, you travel Time and Space in search of adventure!
Your Type 47 TARDIS is currently stuck in disguise as a VW Camper van, and your latest travelling companion is a female code-breaker from Bletchley Park, 1942, who used to work on cracking the Enigma code.
