Or perhaps The Lavender Hill Mob or Kind Hearts and Coronets or The Ladykillers (ditto)

(Hang on, I see a connection between the last three.)

This, but I also loved the remake as well (Italian Job).

I'd say Goodfellas or Pulp Fiction. Is Taxi Driver considered a crime film?

United Martains wrote:Um... I guess (if any of these count as crime movies)
Inception (shut up, dream sharing is a crime)
The Dark Knight Series
The Die Hard Movies

Die Hard isn't a crime film and I wouldn't really call The Dark Knight one either. Inception? Sorta. It's more like an espionage thriller/drama, though.

Film noir, yeah. Crime film...eh, I don't think so, unless Pumped Up Kicks is a crime ballad.

This is tough. I'll go with the fifteen I enjoy the most (I really like crime films, hence the long list), but in no particular order.
Gangster No. 1
City of God
Tsotsi
Seven
The Usual Suspects
Chinatown
Snatch
Eastern Promises
Pulp Fiction
Reservoir Dogs
Godfather Part I
Godfather Part II
Leon: The Professional
American History X
Heat

In this world we stand for what we love, for what is right and for our rights. If you don't stand for either one of these you don't stand at all. You're crippled mentally. Your rights give you your life, that life gives you the right to stand for what is right for the world and one of those rights in the world is standing strong for those you love and what you love as a whole.
