Not done yet, have the last episode to go. No, I will not look back on this thread, so don't even try to spoil me.

The show has been terrible since the end of Season 3. Recycled plot-lines, weak acting, unrealistic science... it just sucks.

SOURCE: an English essay I wrote which got an A+. Boom.

I would have to disagree, my only complaint with the seasons after this are that some of the plots are a bit too confusing.
The Acting from both Matt Smith and David Tenant was superb, with the weakest link being Karen Gillian, but even she was not that bad.
I am surprised that you say the story lines are recycled. I am pretty sure we have never seen a lot of the things that happened in the later seasons. Doctor who is still going strong for me, and I look forward to Peter Capaldi and the new season.
Though Tennant will always be my favourite Doctor

The Acting from both Matt Smith was superb,

I suppose technically he's acted decently, but only because he tries to emulate his predecessor, which doesn't come across well for me.

After watching it so much, I've come to see that nearly every single episode has the same story template. It always begins with someone getting killed mysteriously, the Doctor and his companion arriving expecting a nice holiday, investigation, "what is that?!", running, plot detail unveiled, running, someone dies, running, nice happy ending...

Gets pretty grating after a while. As for the recycled plots in question, there's always an incessant number of "oh my God the Daleks/Cybermen/everyone else have come back! What a shock that I certainly did not expect!"

look forward to Peter Capaldi and the new season.

I'm not holding my breath.

Though Tennant will always be my favourite Doctor

Yes, he is the best.

And there are many clearly recycled plotlines.

actually it's been shit since season 1 and has constantly drifted towards incessant pandering and childishness.

it really does wave itself at the "im such a geek!!!" crowd and it really does churn the stomach.

all the leads have been worse since ecclestone but i am glad they picked this new guy, good to see all the tumblr teens who blatantly watch it because their loins moisten at the actor's stupid face have a big cry about it.

I'm not exactly a buff, but haven't they all been emulating Tom Baker ever since he debuted?
