Ever since she was a little girl, Haruka Suzuki has only ever wanted one thing: to be like Macho Man Randy Savage. Since she's not doing well in school, and she's not making any friends anyway, she'll join a wrestling promotion! Will she become master of the Ring Of Blood, or will she be too distracted by all of the new friends, the glory, and the friendships she'll make?

Oooh! Oooh! Can I make one?

Anime I'd Wish They'd Make #1:

It's not my fault that Lévi-Strauss is not Popular!

Moto Nomura is a shy schoolgirl who is very submissive, but she has to compete for the love of this useless guy with girls who are her archetypal opposites. She wonders why, and for a while considers herself to be merchandise because she realizes that her functions in the show are just to show off skin for pubescent boys (or 40-something year old otaku). However she reads abook in the school library and realizes that all she does has logical prepositions. Can she use Binary Opposition to codify and structuralize the way culture tells her to function in an ideal society?

A harem/ecchi where one of the members of the harem steps back, takes the time to evaluate the situation, becomes dangerously genre savvy, and uses rhetorical analysis to threaten the very fabric of her universe?

...this is crazy enough to work, Pa-chan.

I love an anime that makes fun of its own genre.

I hope Maga-Tsuki gets an anime adaption. It's a harem manga done hilariously.

Not really...

In case yo hadn't noticed, the characters aren't exactly... Interesting.

You'll stop caring about the main guy after a while, the whiny puissant.

I guess the chick is cool, but she's so bland.

I guess you should stay if you want to see more VIOLENCE.

So entertainment wise it's a good watch just not if I want good characters.

If you like lots of blood, death, and unrelenting bleakness, then it's a show for you.

First series was really good.
Second series was hit and miss. TBH, I found the ending rushed, lacking in its original brilliance.

Yeah, it must be related to books or libraries.

I always wanted to watch it ever since I saw it on the Anime Zone but never got around to it, I'll probably start watching it when it comes on Toonami.

Fair warning. About 90 percent of that shows dialogue is someone saying "Fuck". Toonami is gonna have to censor it out the ass.

Fair enough, I mean they say shit in Blue Exorcist so it probably won't be as bad as say when they edited the fuck out of Evangelion when they first showed it. If I'm not a big fan I'm sure a can renew my netflix membership and see if it's on there.

Just finished the Gurren Lagaan TV eps. Bombastic and flashy, yes, but also a much more thoughtful show than I initially thought. It also did a surprisingly good job of developing even the minor characters
so that we feel it when some of them bite it in the final battle.

Final grade: A

Because I'm to lazy to sign up for crunchyroll when I already have a netflix account that just needs to get reactivated.
