Yeah this is the problem when your big plot point wraps up early, you got reach of things that don't jive well. This Garibaldi plot line is like when Joey dated Rachel on friends...it's just wrong.

There are some plot issues in seasons 4 and 5, the main reason is because they didnt think they would get a fifth season, so they had to try and wrap up the shadow war and then move onto the other story lines they set up to finish those off because they thought season 4 would be the last one.

Only because they rushed into PKer mode. They could have made the civil wars the ew front of the Vorlon Shadow conflict, and when both races end their wars then go into the PKer s running around. Would have rounded up nicely. Now I’m almost bored with it

Very curious. Some plot elements look a bit off, but from what we've seen so far the next season has a lot more promise than the first.

Yes, I'm sure CBS stole the entire show from an obscure greenlight game that no one has ever heard of...

HIs case doesn't fall apart, that article only points out how difficult it is to prove plagiarism. But also uses false equivalency. It's right that similar story elements in and of themselves aren't complete proof of plagiarism, otherwise The Asylum would never be a thing. But they also make some false equivalencies.

1. Alien stranded on earth isn't a novelty story, and thus you can't claim its a ripoff of ET.
2. Yes a diverse cast isn't usually proof of anything.


General and common/classic ideas cannot be copyright claimed. The devils, as they say, is in the details: which is the problem for CBS.

The game (which was made public first, and the law cares about first to publish) specifically uses giant Tardigrades as a means of instant interstellar travel, utilizing a universal system of spores.

Star Trek uses a Tardigrades as a means of instant interstellar travel, utilizing a universal system of spores.


This alone is close enough to suggest that it was ripped. The real question is who ripped it? It's far more likely one of the writers ripped it, and nobody higher up noticed until way later.

In this case however, I think it's legit. Some writer on the show ripped this off, and likely nobody else had ever heard of the damn thing so everything was "make it so." And CBS brought this on themselves really by trying to bully him into silence.

Your statement that it was "never heard of" is in fact a lie.As people in fact knew about it before. As the basis of your argument is factually false, the conclusion cannot therefore be correct.
