The primary comment I have about Enterprise so far is that it is desperately in need of more comic relief.

Also, Malcolm sounds very much like Bashir.

Early 2000's sci-fi was not exactly a buffet of comedy. Hell, the most popular show at the time was that depressing Galactica reboot.

But a dreary one. Also, I could never take it seriously. The show was all business, but they had everyone saying "Frack". It just annoyed me.

My problem with BSG is that every single one of the characters was a despicable idiot human being, and I wanted the cylons to wipe out the entire species pretty much from episode 1 onwards. Guess I must have been set up for this disappointment by years of watching selfless geniuses forge a path of enlightenment into the stars.

Give me original BSG any day.

Marina Sirtis is very quickly becoming one of my favorite Star Trek actors, I've been bouncing around watching random Star Trek Youtube clips a lot lately and she is absolutely hilarious at conventions.

I actually just watched a vid describing how she managed to get her role and become the character she was. Pretty ironic stuff.

But Series 1 is full of comedy, far more than a lot of classic Who.
