Well I mean, they can't actually destroy the ship until the movie, that's the rules.

But I thought it wasn't a bad version of Remember Me, crossed with IT. However the simulation was probably a poor way out. Perhaps a fear demon trapped her in her own skull, or something would have been better. But the Just a simulation trope was inevitable for this episode.

One thing I did like was how they treated a redshirt dying, though. They didn't kiss his ass like he was God's gift to man, but Ed clearly had no effing idea who he was.

That was a good scene. There's no way a captain is going to be familiar with every person serving under them.

Still hoping for Patrick Stewart to appear. He's worked with Seth lots of times, so there's no reason why he can't show up on this show.

True. But these two clucks took the cake in my opinion. Take your 7(?) year old into deep space on a cramped shuttle, to observe an incredibly dangerous and unknown alien species. They deserved what they got.

Anywho, a FB Trek fan page posted a question about which captain would cook the best turkey. As if there were any fucking doubt it would be Sisko. As if Janeway had any fucking chance of winning that one.

Right? Replicators are recipe programable. You don't even have to point and click, they're voice activated.

Right? Replicators are recipe programable. You don't even have to point and click, they're voice activated.

Do remember that Replicator was on Voyager. That ship couldn't do anything right.

Bashir is probably my favorite doctor, and I like my Starfleet Doctors (McCoy is too damn awesome.)

EDIT: Gotta make it a tie between Bashir and McCoy. McCoy is mah man, with the gruff Southern attitude.

Also, while watching Trekyards and looking at cool designs, came across this older kickstarter trailer for a fan film that's being made, Pacific 201.

I really like the look of this. I also think the USS Pacific is an awesome design.

I always felt like Bashir's character was carried by people around him. Without his bromance with O'Brien or his...whatever it was with Garak, he'd be a little bland.
