You know right that you could also just say to her "No thanks i dont like this show myself, but i hope you enjoy it but maybe we could watch some of the other Star Trek shows in the future if you want to"

I think it would be cool if they made a Star Trek show mainly from the perspective of another show. Like one from the Romulan POV following a Romulan ship around etc. Think that could be interesting

Meh. Problem with that is the whole "Planet of Hats" deal with aliens in this franchise. Klingons like to fight, Romulans are backstabbers, Spoonheads are mega backstabbers, etc. Fun for an occasional episode, but it'd get old quick as its own show. That's why I never played the alien factions in STO.

I like it. It's basically all the jokes we've all made about the shows

Is good. I like it. The adverts and the only clips I say beforehand really sour expectations. I'll watch more once I get home from work.

Didn't think I'd see Spongebob singing for Patrick Stewart and Anson Mount but I guess we got there somehow.

We definitely need a Trek show following the crew of a timeship going around and dealing with all the temporal incidents the other shows have caused. Bring back Braxton. They'd have a whole three seasons dedicated to Janeway alone lol.

Considering that there are underground bunkers that hold the master recordings of various artists, it's not surprising at all.

It's a good thing he never signed with Universal, since they seem to have trouble with regular fire, let alone nuclear hellfire :P

First Contact was actually the first Star Trek I ever saw as a kid, gotta get around to giving it a rewatch sometime.

My first Trek was the 2009 movie. I was one of those ardent "Wars, not Trek" guys for the longest time. But Star Wars kind of sucked at the time, so I wavered and went to see it. Watched an episode of TNG when I got home and here I am.

Slash Fiction (Wikipedia)

...

It is commonly believed that slash fan fiction originated during the late 1970s, within the Star Trek: The Original Series fan fiction fandom, starting with "Kirk/Spock" stories generally authored by female fans of the series.

Playing through star trek online, there's a tense scene where a bar fight breaks out. the bad guys ambush you and it's supposed to be all tense, until every single patron in this packed place pulls a phaser out of their ass and roflstomps them. me and my crew just stood back and watched as these impromptu partisans kicked mercenary ass.

The term Mary Sue also comes from ST.

Due to the Mary Sue fanfiction released in the 70's and 80's about the female Ensign Mary Sue who was so good at her job that Kirk, Spock, and Bones fell in love with her, she took command of the ship several times, brokered peace deals with several enemy species, and turned violent non-sentience species into her loving pets on the regular.

Question: does the NX-01 Enterprise have guest quarters? I noticed a bit of a contradiction. In the episode Fallen Hero Ambassador V'Lar has to stay in Hoshi's quarters (indicating a lack of guest quarters), but in the episode Precious Cargo Captain Archer offers the Retellian cargo vessel's crew the guest quarters on Enterprise.

So...yea or nay?
