Actually, its probably the mouth being too small. I saw an edit in the STSP FB group where someone gave him a bigger mouth, and he looked like TNG and movie-era Data.Ism wrote:
Ah. Well they’re just wrong then.
All the pilots are pretty cringe, in hindsight. Except for Emissary, but even then, its nowhere as good as the rest of DS9, except for other season one episodes.Bralia wrote:Oh god, I've transitioned into watching Voyager again. It's crazy how the show makes me feel, it's incredible how different it really is from TNG. TNG is a good, likable show with many good episodes mixed with lesser episodes aplenty. TNG defines Star Trek. Voyager, on the other hand, receives an omnipresent unconditional love that cannot be controlled because it's the best Trek. I completely lack an ability to modulate the amount of gushing I do for Voyager.
Having grown up with Voyager, and only relatively recently watching DS9, I think they're equally excellent representations of Trek at its finest.Bralia wrote:Would like to point out that this is an issue easily solved based on the personalities and age of the people involved: Beltran is clearly a Robert, Picardo is a Bob and RDM is a Rob.
Actually, the hilarious thing is that from the convention videos I've seen, that's actually how the other cast members talk about them. Except RDM is Robbie, instead of just Rob.
I think that’s a symptom of his older, heavier head
