Who the hell decided on Water Polo for Archer’s favorite sport? Of all the bizarrely random sports to pick...

According to Memory Alpha:
According to Scott Bakula, Archer's interest in water polo was something added by the writers, specifically Rick Berman, whose son played in the sport. Bakula, who also played polo while growing up, had also pushed the writers for giving Archer a second sport of interest, Lacrosse, which did not come to fruition.

As someone who played football in high school, and am completely bored by it on TV or in the stands, I can totally understand where Bakula was coming from.

It was alright. Pretty classic tale told from a new perspective. Honestly the only thing that made the movie for me was Awkwafina. She might be the most annoying person in hollywood right now, but for some reason it works for me. She'll be type cast as the sassy comic relief for eternity but I dig it for some reason.


Edit: also Michelle Yeoh is a queen.

I didn't think they'd actually name the Picard show Star Trek Picard. I thought it would be the name of his new ship.
