Music. Who would you pick for the rest of your life, & why.

Postby Jainindha » Tue Apr 02, 2013 12:13 pm

If you were forced to only listen to one singer, and one band for the rest of your life, and you could only change it a grand total of fifteen times (five for the singer, five for the bands, and five for the composer/instrumentalist) who would you pick? Would you pick a singer based more so on quality or quantity? Would you change one of the singers you've chosen dies, or they've pulled a Britney spears. Or would stay true to them and wade it out making them last and only switch singers every decade or two.

I personally would try to make to make them last & my first singer would probably be Tony Bennett, I would probably pick The Beatles for my band, and Ennio Morricone for my composer.

Actually, you know what. For composer, I'd choose me. I write music, so in theory every time I got bored of a piece I could just write a new one.

I would make a band and all the instruments are tape players and they just play other peoples' music with no alterations.

I love them, but I love Rammstein just a little more.

Also, Linkin Park has gotten a bit too artsy. I liked "Minutes to Midnight" and I was disappointed that some LP fans were too metal-obsessed to appreciate it, but after that I think they really did start to go downhill.

Bach is awesome, especially if I get to listen to Laibach's electronic versions of his fugues as well as the traditional renditions.

To be honest, this is a rather hard question for me too. I enjoy tons of music. But if I really had to choose a singer then I'd choose Shirley Manson, the frontwoman of Garbage. Band? Oomph.

Laibach is great. I always seem to have their rendition of God is God in my head.
