A tool for in depth RP

Postby Isle of Id » Sat Jun 06, 2009 7:44 pm

I am VERY new here and have begun to wrap my mind around what it is some of you do. I have found a software tool that may be helpful for some of you who are into creating these remarkable stories.

It is called StorYBook

From the About screen:
StorYBook is a free, open source novel-writing tool for creative writers, novelists and authors which will help you to keep an overview of multiple plot-lines while writing books, novels or other written works. StorYBook assists you in structuring your book

While reading some of the RP going on here I found that in creating such stories and worlds it could get pretty hairy managing characters and plot lines. This tool may help to keep you consistent and who knows, it may even improve what you have going.

Find more information here http://storybook.intertec.ch/joomla/

I am in no way affiliated with this software.

Keep it up. Some of these are great reads.

No thank you. I write my stories the old way: Edit a world map, and make a story.

Maybe should go under Fiction. Seems like they could use it.

Wow, this looks really cool. I'm bookmarking the site, and will likely try to software out later.

As am I. I'm going to need something like this for when I start Grad school in January. I'm going into play/screenwriting.
