It's a game that combines the back-stabbing dickery of big business and the back-stabbing dickery of an MMORPG.

What did you expect?

Bad, but some of those take the word to a whole new level. Jack Thompson would probably have an easier time getting games banned if he talked about EVE rather than GTA.

Yes, that's an exaggeration, but you get the point.

Still, its tied for best game in my arsenal, and it truly is a game where players make things epic. Sure, there are backstabbings, but you just need to realize that nobody in EVE is trustworthy beyond a contract set in stone.

Playing Arkham City.

The maker of the Arkham Origins is also the ones who make Armored Battle Edition of the Arkham City too, right?

While it is fun, the hit detection sucks balls and is laggy as hell thanks to not using servers, which consoles should really move over to finally. The fact that the seventh generation, let alone the upcoming eighth generation, is using hosts still is insulting.

The hit detection seemed fine to me.

They bought it for me when it came out. That was almost a decade ago.

I would say yes. It is probably my favorite show, or at least one of my favorites. Backstabbing, you have no idea who will live or who will die because the writer of the book it is based off of was all into making a fantasy story that was different, most characters aren't pure evil or pure good, and do good or bad stuff on both sides, and so on and so forth.

Here's a scene with 2 of my favorite characters. Don't read comments because of spoilers, though I guess the scene itself could be a little spoilery. You probably wouldn't understand what was going on since you haven't watched it, though.

Game of Thrones: The Game (In Space)

Which reminds me of the Game of Thrones MMO coming out in the future. They really need to go above and beyond Eve if they want to get my approval, seeing as playing Kingmaker is somewhat difficult in Eve.

I'd be all for a good game based in that world. But it could easily be done bad. Like the RPG that apparently came out. Though I hear the story is done well but everything else sucked.

I hear there is a really good mod for Crusader Kings 2 that is Game of Thrones related, I think.

But undoubtably one of the best. That sort of stuff is normally reserved for when people make mods; this is on another level.

My dad already bought it. I first heard about it on April 1st, so I wasn't sure if it was a joke or not. I am so glad it isn't because it is just a ridiculously awesome idea. They even made a soundtrack for it.

The funny part is it can make complete sense in the game. All you need to do is step on mushrooms and it now makes sense.

After a quick google on the new MMO, it's going to be browser based, and looks crap. Then again, it's early in development, but it hasn't grabbed my attention.

The GoT mod for Crusader Kings 2 is very good, and multiplayer games are utterly brutal (like killing off kids brutal), but the game can't really handle any more than a dozen players. I'd love it if the CK2 model was transfered to a MMO on the scale of Eve and set up to accomodate play from serf to merchant to lord.

I heard a rumor that HBO, or someone wanted Bethesda to make a Game of Thrones game, but they were too busy with Skyrim.

The funny thing is I felt like some of the names in Skyrim were close to names in Game of Thrones. Like they took inspiration from the book series.

To do anything remotely worthy of the series would need to be a MMO, the level of sheer ruthlessness and cuthroatedness that characterized Eve would be perfect for ASoIaF.

Plus, everybody secretly wants to operate a medevial era Ponzi scheme in a online game that leads to two thosand men slaughtering each other.

Actually, the best example I can think of was in Eve, when a bunch of alliances started to control a critical resource so they could drive the prices up (and actually forced the developers to find a solution). That sort of stuff would be great for Game of Thrones, like some Houses working together to control say, a few trade ports, and drive up the price of grain.

... Except TES has been around longer than that.

Hell, they made TWO games before they released the first book.

The politics of Skyrim were already outlined.

Protip: EvE is the only game to pull this off successfully, and its probably the least noob friendly MMO ever. A GoT target audience wouldnt really like an EvE style game.
