Planetary Annihilation, as someone who has not played it, seems to rely too heavily on it's gimmick and not on solid gameplay.

As somebody that has played it, the gameplay is really solid, as with the TA games in general.

So apparently SteamOS went into v1.0 and now supports AMD graphics cards? Why was I not informed of this?

What they said, I have PA as well, and the gameplay is pretty awesome, lots of options with space sattelites etc.

Needs a vastly improved single player, and that whole fucking always online shit needs to be strangled.

Yes, Wargame exists. Supreme Commander, Command & Conquer and Rise of Nations do not. Ironclad and Eugen exist. Big Huge Games, Westwood, Ensemble Studios and Gas Powered Games do not.

Rise of Legends was better than Rise of Nations to be entirely honest. Its unfortunate that game was never as popular though.

So, this AMD Mantle thingy....
Will my AMD Radeon HD 6530D be affected? Or is it too old?

Altito Asmoro wrote:Try Project Lasso application, it will make your CPU ran faster, and probably loads smaller size of files. I used it for year now, and it's a miracle, even though it is the free application one, not the complete one.

Tried installing it, it said it should only be installed on Windows 2003 Server. Does it still work otherwise?

99.9% sure it only affects HD 7000, HD 8000, and the new "R" series of GPUs.

I don't think the HD6000 series will be utilizing Mantle.

The HD 6000 series also does not use the GCN architecture.

Planetside 2 is so amazeballs.

It runs really well at medium on my PC, and it still looks really cool, so I'm happy. Might experiment with some of the high settings in the VR training.

Really? I couldn't stand that game. Doesn't help that steam Borked up my data for it, telling me I've played 800+ hours when I've only played about an hour and a half.

Well, I'm gonna crank up my 3570K to 4.8 GHz just to see if it can even handle that without exploding. Wish me luck

Even though it was just .2 GHz above what it's currently at it ended up being WAY too hot to safely use

I saw your post after I posted :P

Anyway, my dad just showed me the trailer for Cradle. Looks pretty awesome. These indie games going on Kickstarter are loving the Cryengine lately.

The only problem with the trailer was their crappy volume. The music was almost too loud I couldn't even hear what the damned people were trying to tell me.
