Yeah, Valve. I mean, they gave us freaking Steam, the best source to suck our wallets away on games.

Fair nuff, hell, if I threw steam out of the equation I'd still prolly put them in my top 5 (behind Betheda, Rockstar, and CCP)

I'd rather have a few good games than a lot of crap ones, and even if it takes them forever to release, it can't be denied that Valve makes some very good games.

It annoys me that it takes that long (call me impatient, but after recently beating HL2 for the 6th time, it gets boring), and while the quality is extremely high, I can't help but think it could be a little faster.

Did, liked the weeps, but the in game Econ killed the game for me, when you have to have a strange/hat/whatever the hell you've got to gain any respect, as opposed to say going on a 10:1-ought kd, I get mad.

This. I mean, I'm sure Valve can get away with not making games as much because of the profit they make from Steam, but obviously the employees are doing something. If, or when Half Life 3 comes out, it will probably be great, and well worth the wait. If it takes a long time? Who cares. There's other things to play in the meantime.

I can never play Team Fortress 2 because my computer is pathetic. However, me and my dad have done a big discussion for the best way to get us new, cheap computers, when we have a little extra money for stuff. Hell, I could even pay $400 for an already built computer (not our plan) and get one that is way better then my current PC.

I also plan to some day get a laptop, but that won't be for gaming and more for just portable stuff I'm doing on the road or whatever. After seeing my cousins laptop, I want one of those really small, touch screen laptops. And I saw one today for $200 Screw any of those IPad and tablet crap.

Really? Were you playing on Valve servers or something? Usually when people get disrespect for how pathetic their inventory is, it's because they've been claiming it's worth hundreds of dollars when it's really about a dozen uncraftables or untradeables and a Gibus. That's another thing, for God's sake, never wear the Gibus. It's literally the easiest hat to get, and it carries with it only disrespect.

On valve servers, nobody ever acknowledges "true credit to team" while the guy running around with the "hat of a thousand hats" or the "strange cooler-than-your-gun" was the prime target for praise/recognition while he might only have camped/done far worse. It's discouraging that because I don't own something that looks cool means that I always seem to go second place to the guy with the cool gear, the game plays fun and repayable and all, but the community is one I abhor.

That's my solution to all multiplayer because people are assholes.

Or I just play stuff like Team Fortress 2 with family.

Valve servers are full of little 11 year old CoD shits, newbies, and experienced players who like to troll the aforementioned CoD shits and newbies (I don't mean to imply that everybody who plays CoD is a horrible person, it's just that the little kids who come to TF2 usually are). If you want, I can hook you up with a good server. It's a trade server, but usually people just go to them to kill people without having to worry about flags or points or anything, and when a stray brat finds his way over he'll be mercilessly taunted and brutally murdered until he proclaims victory and ragequits. People don't really hate on others there, as long as they're not totally fucking annoying.

I play it w my bro, too bad he's a trash talker, but I usually resolve with brotherly slap/punch/gutshot...

Honestly, while the stories are bland, the gameplay doesn't seem to ever evolve much, they don't seem to do anything risky, ect, I will say that all the Call of Duty games ARE really well made for what they are. I just wish they would evolve and do something else. It doesn't make up for the bland stories though, but I won't just say the entire game is crappily made. They are actually pretty strong games, especially from what I have seen of Treyarch. Just not something I feel is worth $60 every year for something that doesn't change much or evolve, graphically, story, and gameplay wise.

A more subtle issue that casual gamers (fuckers) probably don't care very much about.

But, it does make sense to at least wait for Black Ops 2, which is what my sister did, since every single COD game is more or less the same goddamn thing.

Sins was fun when i last played it but it's been ages since i've done so. I found it most fun doing a coop with a friend of mine. The AI however suffered from a case of the derps last time i tried it (admittedly this was a year or so ago so perhaps it's been improved).
