The first, IMO, is pretty researchable.

As for the poem, basic gist:

Colt in love with Pinkie Pie.

Pinkie Pie too busy making everybody happy.

Colt's attempts to get her to notice him fail.

Colt feigns happiness in front of her.

Colt is implied to commit suicide.
