I think many of the pictures are reused with permission, but other pictures are made by request. They have a group dedicated to that.

(There are also a lot of tutorials for drawing ponies yourself, using vector programs like Inkscape. I can't draw at all, but I got an almost mediocre result yesterday just by following the instructions.)

A guy was selling cupcakes today for a local youth group, so in a fit of Pinkie Pie I bought 4 to share with my family killed him and wore his face.
