You know i have been meaning to read FoE again, the other fics i'm following i've read as far as they've updated to, but the sheer size of it is still kinda daunting.

I've reread it once. I think it actually took me less time the second time around. Just as good on the second run through, IMO.

Which begs the question: Unless Tolkien's books are in the public domain (which I doubt), why can't the writers on staff take inspiration from brony fanfiction?
