I actually won't like merging; it takes up a moderator's time (I believe), and I actually like having a separate thread for FO4 news and General Fallout.

Also, why? A general Fallout thread would bunch all of the activity together, making it more convenient for the NS Fallout community.

If he/she will put work into merging, I won't mind. Only a few facts given, but I'm fine either way if there is a merging or not.

As OP of the thread, I'm going to give my reason against merging, this thread has gone on for 129 pages This is the first and to date only thread I've OP'd that had gone to even 20+ pages, I personally, would not be fond to see this go into something where it's a "Part" of a threwad, and lose the focus becoming, Derailing that's permitted.

As OP of the thread, I'm going to give my reason against merging, this thread has gone on for 129 pages This is the first and to date only thread I've OP'd that had gone to even 20+ pages, I personally, would not be fond to see this go into something where it's a "Part" of a threwad, and lose the focus becoming, Derailing that's permitted.

I respect your reasons.

If anything I'd be locking the other thread, and directing them to come here. This would be the official Falout thread until page 500, at which point I'd lock it. Edit: I have in fact locked the other thread and directed them here.

And, I don't want you to think I'm trying to be a jerk, but OP powers are not applicable in this, or any, discussion thread. Being proud of being OP is fine, and good, but it grants no special power. Regardless, a simple title change and you become the OP o the all-encompassing Fallout Thread. Same idea, wider scope.

It was alright, though I really didn't want a New Vegas version. The alien concept was cool, but it shouldn't be worn out.

I wouldn't want it in New Vegas I like the FNV add ons and I think a re do of mothership zeta would be over using it. Now if this Fallout 4 thing is real then I wouldn't mind it on there.

I was slightly bothered by the fact that the Wild Wasteland aliens used laser pistols. Now I know they shouldn't all use Alien Blasters, but they could've maybe reused that Alien Atomizer.

A joking expansion it was pretty fun, and I'm glad that they included aliens in Wild Wasteland, where they belong. But other than small references and other stuff like that, I'm not too keen on making them a seriously involved part of the canon.

No doubt it would have been a great game, but I'm not sure I would pick it over the Fallout 3 we have. (Or New Vegas, either, considering VB would have been what NV is if it was released)

I never really liked the type of combat the fallouts had. I'm sure it would have been good by its standards, but I personally prefer the radically different current fallout.

That is true I like the Fallout fighting we have now and if they just made a Van Buren now I would buy it.

I would've bought it either way. Both Bethesda's and Interplay's versions were both fine to me.

In case any of you aren't subscribed to r/Fallout, there's news; Survivor2299.com was a hoax, and the entire think has been shot down not only by Bethesda, but on the site itself. No real oncoming news about Fallout 4.
