Still a blank-flank.
Not that she had a talent to begin with, so I guess this would amount to Fridge Brilliance.

Well personally, that is why I don't like her that much. Like a Mary Sue character she is just a little too perfect and bland. What makes a character relatable is often the character flaws. So for example, Twilight becomes a more interesting character due to her mental breakdown (and borderline Aspergers / obsessive compulsive disorder?), and Pinkie Pie becomes a more interesting character because of the way that her impulsive, flimsy nature (ADHD?) sometimes causes harm to herself and others as she fails to consider the consequences of her actions.

One could make a case for Pinkie being an aspie too , due to her strong lack of social tact and inability to grasp subtle social cues. This is partially why I identify so strongly with Pinkie, in addition to my love of cupcakes and hyperactive nature.

Indeed, though I'm a little troubled by how casually people can label others and themselves as having this or that diagnosis sometimes...
You can get almost any diagnosis to fit almost anyone, if you really want to.Cevalo Nacio wrote:Pinkie doesent fit the steretypical aspie mold, but I have met people like her with autism spectrum disorders. True, but isn't that more like because she is a cartoon character and is supposed to have her super special ability that she is really good at![]()
