<_< That doesn't even vaguely impress me but i have seen the Galactic Empire's own Weapon programs.

They sort of make one lone world being the testbed for tech that is just inferior not mean much.

.-. And honestly an explosion seen from space? Woo! I could detonate a five kiloton nuclear device and that could be seen from space.

The wiki page- http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Tesla_Prime#.UVxjJ2t5mSM Some of the weaponry was too dangerous to even move off planet. We don't even have any examples of these weapons, but I wouldn't be surprised if stasis weaponry and prototype gauss weaponry was available along with Tau tech.

Honestly do you want to compare weapons programs here?

Alrightie.

The Empire has conducted research on gravitonic Weaponry before.

That resulted in the destruction of a Planet.

They have conducted usage of Super Nova's as weaponry before, Created Blackholes.

Messed around with Gravitonic Shadows.

Honestly Every Fantasy has it's Golden Age it just happens that SW has a bit more Gold in it's then WH.

Really, the Dark Age of Technology isn't that far back in the WH40K universe, and I don't think it really counts as some 'Ancient, Primordial' race. That title belongs to the Old Ones. Its only between 15,000 to 25,000 years or so before the current era. So, you can bring the Celestials and the Infinite Empire against the Old Ones, but whether or not against the Humans of the Dark Age of Technology is a bit difficult to answer.

Hrm i suppose you are correct but the Star Forge it self didn't get removed from play until the fall of Darth Revan's Sith Empire.

The Foundry Survived even after that.

I can't be bothered to read every page of this debate and I'm sure someone has already on behalf of 40k talked about 41st millennium weapons? The Empire is nothing compared to the might of the Adeptus Astartes or the Adeptus Mechanicus.

You mean basically everything covered as far as Imperium weaponry goes? Yeah.

It's been covered and for the most part overcome by the Empire.

Given that the Timeline presented generally places the Imperium in the late 40th or early 41st tech stage.

The Empire is nothing compared to the might of some pathetic backwoods order of Genetic rejects? Yeah believe that if you want

Honestly i try not to be overly biased or judgemental in such debate but some one this was basically begging for a reply like this.

No sourced material, No bothering to bring in some new piece of tech.

Just the standard assumption that your faction is going to win; Hardly uncommon i suppose from WH player's who know little of Starwar's Techological Might.

From the Floating Behomoths of Star Dreadnaughts, to the Plantery shattering Death Star, to the Mass Produced Dark Troopers, To the Various TIE varients.

.-. Gravitonic Mines and Torpedo's, Designer Viruses, Proton Torpedo's and Concussion missles, Thermal Detonators, Blaster Techology, Hyper Drive Techology. Shipyards that encircle entire worlds, Foundries that cover entire planets, Entire worlds devoted to industry, product and Research.

And this is saying nothing of the Force at all.

Freind? You ever get serious about this thread i suggest you get over yourelf and reread some of it; The Majority of most viewpoints have been covered, Debunked or Countered.

I'll find some time after work, I go back in five minutes and I do know my fair share of Star Wars tech. The question is do I spend my last five minutes correcting some of your grammar? I just can't take anyone seriously with bad grammar. Well you're not that bad I've seen worse...

Sinces LucasArts has been shut down, WH40K wins by default.

Oh sorry I'm not familiar with the NS debating rules. Anyway, I have to get back to work or I'll get fired so if you're serious about this TG me about Star Wars vs WH40k and I'll answer them with every well sourced information on why I think 40k beats Star Wars. I should be able to keep this tab open actually...

I love both 40k and SW, so I'm sorry to see they're both turning kinda shitty. There was never meant to be an Episode 7 of Star Wars, and 40k.. fucking Ward.

That was Behemoth, and they didn't stop it. They just took out a single tendril and lost the majority of their forces. Hopefully this will be repeated, and while they're limping away, Alpha Legion terminators reveal themselves as disguised Ultramarines, then jump out and rip Calgar a new one.

I heard a theory that Alpharius (or Omegon) switched places with Guillman when he supposedly died. Who is currently healing inside his stasis pod.

What would happen if you combined CREEEEEED and the Alpha Legion?
