What do you prefer
Nintendo, Microsoft, Sony or others
I prefer Nintendo because it makes me feel that i never become older

Ps: this thread is about gaming consols not mobile phones or tablets

i bought a wii u at midnight on launch day.
ive owned every nintendo console including virtual boy.

i do worry about sony though. they seem to be in such disarray.

They have more money than God. They'll be around for a good long time. I still love the playstation even though they've tried really hard to fuck it up and lose my business. It seems like they always come around with a "Baby, I'm so sorry. You know I don't wanna hurt you." And I take them back. Because I know they really do love me. They just are kind of troubled. And it's my fault, anyway.

I'm an XBox fan. They have most if not all of the best games that are produced each year, and I enjoy playing them greatly. After that, Nintendo games have been a part of my life for a long time, so I still own a Wii. I doubt I'll be getting a Wii U, though.

i suppose but they are one long fuckup. they went from being the premier brand for televisions to being an also-ran. they went from being the biggest console ever to being an also-ran.

i find it very disturbing since they were the greatest back in the ps2 days.

The first PS3's were really remarkable. It could run Linux, played ps2 games, blu-ray - just generally an impressive monster of a thing. Then my ps3 broke because they used cheap parts and they took away Linux and ps2 capability. Then the security issues. Just really bad planning. In total, I spent nearly $900 on a system that lost functionality over time. I still can't bring myself to buy another ps2 to play all the great games I remember playing.

Microsoft.
I can emulate previous generations of the other games, and most games released on current generations are available on PC.

In theory I could emulate the current Gen, but it'd be difficult.

in order of preference in reference to gaming hardware

nintendo = sony > microsoft

however if you're talking wii vs ps3 etc

pc > PS3 > wii > xbox

i have no idea why anyone would buy an xbox. because it's cheap i guess.

Nintendo enjoy pumping out shovelware on their kiddies' consoles, and therefore I despise them.
Sony are a bunch of money-grabbing assholes who enjoy copying their rivals.

I would say Microsoft. I prefer multiplayer gaming and since I have played both PS3 and Xbox360 I would have to say this, Xbox is better for multiplayer, PS3 is better for singleplayer. Also Xbox gets a lot of things sooner than PS3, and has more games I like. ^._.^

Nintendo's my favorite out of the current big three console-producing companies. I have most of their consoles (including the Wii U) and I love them all.

Sony and Microsoft have made some pretty good consoles, though, and I like a number of the games released for them.

When it comes to PC (which always seems to get left out of these debates), I like a lot of the indie games that have come out on Steam. Aside from that, I can't say much because my current computer is a POC and can't handle graphics more advanced than a lot of said indie games have.
