I remember Fosters Home for Imaginary friends was the only cartoon I hoped to watch after school :D

Then Camp Lazlo happened. Shortly after, I stopped watching Cartoon Network.

The Pink Panther, The Detective, The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack...which is like Courage and Spongebob on drugs. Let's see...and whatever I watched on PBS.

Some time after I stopped watching TV. Think a friend introduced me to the non-American cartoon in 2007 and ever since I've been an otaku in a love-hate relationship with the slut called Post 90s anime.

And for those who separate "Anime" and "Cartoons" :
Anime itself is possibly derived from "dessin animé", or roughly "animation". It could also be the Japanese abbreviation for the English animation, hence "animeshon"= anime. It has a circumstantial meaning because in Japan, anime could just apply to any animated piece regardless of it's origin. So yeah, cartoon, anime, same thing in a rough sense.

In this world we stand for what we love, for what is right and for our rights. If you don't stand for either one of these you don't stand at all. You're crippled mentally. Your rights give you your life, that life gives you the right to stand for what is right for the world and one of those rights in the world is standing strong for those you love and what you love as a whole.

A bit funny to note though that those who think it's (anime) weird have probably not seen French works.

The Triplets of Belleville was rather...odd, so was this other funny one about a woman who fattens a man up in a giant pigeon costume to eat him.
