Yes. Harald Hardrarda captured and executed him.

Me. He just got sick and died three months into the game.

Me. He just got sick and died three months into the game.

Three days in mine died of his infected wound.
Where must we go, we who wander this wasteland, in search for our better selves?
In Egypt's sandy silence, all alone,
Stands a gigantic Leg, which far off throws
The only shadow that the Desert knows:—
"I am great OZYMANDIAS," saith the stone,
"The King of Kings; this mighty City shows
"The wonders of my hand." The City's gone,
Nought but the Leg remaining to disclose
The site of this forgotten Babylon.

We wonder, and some Hunter may express
Wonder like ours, when thro' the wilderness
Where London stood, holding the Wolf in chace,
He meets some fragment huge, and stops to guess
What powerful but unrecorded race
Once dwelt in that annihilated place.

Does anybody know of a good functioning Vicky II to HOI II converter? I've had a strange but awesome game as the US that I totally want to take to 36 with me.

That’s a stupid question to be honest.

Didn't feel like googling "ü" and then copy-pasting it, and I've only had about 5 months of German so I'm not fluent.

So it just keeps the original tech, except drags it out for 9000 years....

God damn it. Of course it has new tech! Why would they want a mod where you can go to the Americas in 100AD?

Why does Civ have the feature where you can continue playing on after the 2100s though no new tech is added? So you can still use trade, diplomacy and war with other countries. Having the same tech doesn't mean you can't see the borders and geopolitics change over time. And you say I ask the stupid questions?

Civ has the classical ages through future ages built in. EU does not. Well, if you want longbows in 60AD then okay it may not be stupid. Maybe you want flytes in 150AD...I don’t know about you so why not?

I played the EU III (or maybe it was IV? I don't remember) demo on Steam once. I went into the game and had no idea what I was doing, as the game would shut down when I tried to load the tutorial, so I was basically playing blind, and I have to say, that's some complex shit in that game. There was also a lot of lag.

Still, it looked pretty cool and I still have it on my wishlist.

Anyway, as I was saying, how does the tech work for the future, since it's difficult to realistically think that far ahead :P

Ah, I was thinking they wouldn't change the EU mechanics too much to fit the timelines.

I haven't played the future yet. I've only tried Germany in 2000, Ukraine in 2014, and the Western Roman Empire in 475.

Domeone starting from AD 59 would've conquered the world by 1000AD more or less.
