Currently having the time of my life with the CK2 mod - Elder Kings. It is an Elder Scrolls(!!!) total conversion where you can play as any patch of land during the Second Interregnum (just after the Second Empire collapsed). The Traits system is wonderfully utilized here - for example, if a vampire infestation were to happen in your county, you may lead a purge yourself, with a chance of getting infected. Leave it alone for 3 days (seconds) and you turn into a vampire, just like the TES games. And that's just the tip of the tip of the iceberg.

Currently I'm playing a custom Imperial Warlord (free casus belli) character in Cyrodiil. He just reforged the High Kingdom of Cyrodiil and is planning to annex both Colovia in Nibenay to finalize reunification. The Empire of Tamriel itself can be founded not soon after (2 kingdoms, Amulet of Kings). Frickin' awesome.

Check it out - http://www.moddb.com/mods/elder-kings

PS yes there are dragonborn. They are apparently randomly selected and quite OP

Any ideas how to fix this?

Let's try to not play the ones with edited population. I have the same damn problem.

You have just... thank you!
We're Russia but just a constitutional monarchy.
Мать Россия!
Your test scores indicate that you are a tough-minded cultural centrist; this is the political profile one might associate with a jaded materialist. It appears that you are skeptical towards religion, and have a balanced attitude towards humanity in general.

Your attitudes towards economics appear socialist, and combined with your social attitudes this creates the picture of someone who would generally be described as a social democrat.

To round out the picture you appear to be, political preference aside, a uncompromising realistic centrist with many strong convictions.

This concludes our analysis; we hope you found your results accurate, useful, and interesting.

I asked in the forums and they said "Get a better processor" BITCH I HAVE A QUADCORE i7s! Your fucking single core i3 is not even a fraction of how powerful mine is!

Try to delete cache.

Mod Team People wrote:It's come to our attention that some of you have had CTD issues. The most common problem is usually the cache. To fix it you must delete the content inside (Victoria II/map/cache), (Victoria II/mod/Ultimate/map/cache) and (My Documents/Paradox Interactive/Victoria II/map/cache). If you've run the game once before it may also be necessary to delete the 'Ultimate' folder in (My Documents/Paradox Interactive/Victoria II). Another more unlikely possibility would be a problem with the flags cache, delete the content in (My Documents/Paradox Interactive/Victoria II/gfx/flags).

If none of this does it. Your best bet would be to reinstall Victoria II.

I deleted my cache right before launching it, and I have an awesome processor too (It runs EU4 with 0 lag or slowdown).
Though I can check it.

Oh my Allah! These new patches for CK2 are glorious! The ability to finally specifically search through the world's people by trait is undoubtedly the best perk to come out of these patches. And my already OP camel cavalry get a buff. This patch is a godsend.

IIRC every Orthodox Greek state gets that decision if Byzantium doesn't exist.

Then I assume you were Greek and orthodox, which fits my memory about that decision.

Yeah, that might've been an additional requirement.
Though I think being the Roman empire would be better, in terms of traditions and ideas, or at least IIRC I prefer them over the byzantine ones.
