Vance Stubbs leads the 252nd Kaurava Conservator Regiment for the Imperial Guard in the game. He is armed (apparently like every other Command Squad leader in the Galaxy) with a set of Power Claws and bolters strapped to his arms. He may also, in fact, have a Thunder Hammer for a penis, but his harem of lovers were all too exhausted to comment on the matter.

Does that not say "Imperial archetype for a MAN"? Verily, he is a gentleman of a man, wanting to restore honour in Kaurava IV and his regiment in the eyes of THE EMPEROR OF MAN.

Sorry, but Creed's cigar-chomping tactical genius wins. At least he can find Vance's missing 100 Baneblades.

Exactly. Vance never had them in the first place; Creed put wooden Baneblades in their place.

Tell that to someone who's facing the Liego Mortis.

No need; Vance Motherfucking Stubbs faced... what was it? Oh yeah, the Blood Magpies chapter, CHAOS UNDIVIDED, Space Elves, Da Orks, Necrons, The Greater Good, Emo Space Elves and those other ones who I forget, but are pyromaniacs and thrive on feminism.

Stubbs can pelvic thrust and destroy the Titan with his Thundercrotch. He and his men more or less one-shot killed The Chaos in their stronghold defeat. His mere presence can turn Justin Bieber into Justin BEATHISFACEINWITHANAXE. The only one as awesome as Stubbs is General Sturnn. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Sturnn; the only General competent enough to convince Valkyrie pilots to actually land before dropping troops off.

So here's a question. What do people think about the new Forgeworld Legio Cybernetica units, and their use in a general game of 40k as an Ad Mech force?

Also, what would be some suggestions for conversions from overpriced regular GW models into absurdly overpriced Forgeworld models? I'm trying to make some Thallaxii, Castellaxii, and other such things to make a pure AdMech force, but the prices of FW models are crippling.

To be fair, there isn't really that much of a price difference these days and in one or two cases FW is actually cheaper.

Depends what you're buying. A Thallaxii cohort costs something like a hundred dollars. For nine models. The Heresy Ad Mech units are pants shittingly expensive, and those are really the only things I'm worried about buying for now. Some of the tanks might be a better value, but I can't even think about buying HS when I can't afford HQ and Troops picks.

Watched 'Ultramarines' yesterday, it was a good movie. Watched the special features that elaborated the world a bit. I think I'll put the Command and Conquer CD down for once and give the game a try.

Long live the Global Liberation Army!
Leader of NS Hoofington Reapers

In this world we stand for what we love, for what is right and for our rights. If you don't stand for either one of these you don't stand at all. You're crippled mentally. Your rights give you your life, that life gives you the right to stand for what is right for the world and one of those rights in the world is standing strong for those you love and what you love as a whole.

mechanicum seems like it could be fun if you like the machine god and all that worship tech voodoo shit.
everything from FW and GW is over priced (FW are really nice so they have a reason to be). converting GW into FW is tricky. in my experience I have found it easier to use FW to spice up GW kits (like my favorite thing in the world HQ/Leader characters :D)
