The Companions are the guards of the Emperor they are not all the same troops. The sentinels and Kataphracts together form the companions.

Where does it say that? As in, where in canon?

Well do to the lack of detail on the Adeptus Custodes all we know is that the Companions number at three hundred and guard the Emperor so there is nothing saying that they are all the same and not split into different war gear squads.

Well okay no where. But think about it the Custodes had allot of jet bikes for assaulting the web way, and while they lost some in the web way battles they surely didn't lose them all. And then since then they have never left Terra so those bikes could not have been destroyed and there are plenty of tech priest to maintain them so logically how could they be gone?

Jetbikes and their technology are now distrusted by Mankind as being alien and inhuman, particularly in the examples of the Eldar and Tau. Sammael's jetbike was built to the highest standards, mounting a plasma cannon and twin-linked storm bolters. It is possible that some Second Founding chapters of the Dark Angels maintain other examples of jetbikes in their armouries.

Due to the vast size of the Imperial Palace, the Custodes always act as a defensive army[1]. As of M41 the Custodes themselves never leave Terra, and only rarely leave the Palace.

A problem I have with the codex.

Guess what title doesn't appear in the codex? Yep, it's Captain-General.

Also, Custodian Terminators, happen in the fluff, nowhere in the codex.

That title is in the codex for a special character.
Well yeah obviously the Custodes wouldn't be in The game because they are defensive but hey some people want to play their Custodes armies.

40K wiki or Lexicanum?

In the former, there is one case in the photo gallery when a jetbike rider is referred to as "Praetorian", but "during" is misspelt thrice in the same gallery(So that person may or may not know what he's even talking about), and all other pictures refer to bike riders as... Custodians riding jetbikes.

Custodians were referred to as guards twice, but that's because it's their job.

The terminators are wearing Cataphractii-pattern terminator armor, but it does not make any reference to Companion exclusivity; and that pattern was also worn by the legions, as it was the first pattern.

They're still bloody expensive even if you account for that. If GW just mass-produced minis and made them cheaper, they'd probably make more money anyway.
