I have to admit that as TTG I like Warmachine over 40K. :/

Excuse me, sir. Seeing as how the V.P. is such a V.I.P., shouldn't we keep the P.C. on the Q.T.? 'Cause if it leaks to the V.C. he could end up M.I.A., and then we'd all be put out in K.P.

Warmachine? Maaaybe.
Gears of war? No.
Starcraft? LOLNO
Starcraft is just a ripoff of 40k with really simplified factions and rednecks as the humans to look different.

I think starcraft has evolved very much into it's own however, plus some of the stuff in there would rape 40k.
Besides, lets not pull the " Rip-off" stuff here, even 40k is influenced by other settings(I wouldn't be surprised if Tyranids were inspired by Alien and Necrons from Terminator)

Wouldn't be surprised? THEY WERE. It even is written on most wikis. Tyranids are certainly xenomorphs, thankfully they lack acid blood... for now.

Always thought Zerg were ten times scarier looking than nids. Protoss are way better than what amounts to basically arrogant space elves.

Heresy, I intend to eventually start getting W40K stuff, and the Eldar are some of the most interesting races ever invented. Also one of the saddest, seeing how they're barely clinging on.
The Imperium really needs to ditch their xenophobia, seeing that it's unlikely they'll be able to survive without aid from the Eldar and possibly the Tau.

The Imperium wouldn't be the Imperium without there xenophobiait's just who they are in the setting. Besides there wont ever be an end to the 40k setting, cause then that would be the end of it all.

Ive seen many debates ending in the death of the space marine due to zealot pre-cog, there ability to transform into energy and reach there target. In melee the space marine is literally killed with one swift stroke before he realized what just materialized in front of him.

That presumes that the psi-blade can ignore armor, and is treated as a power weapon. Zealots do not have a measurable precog. A Zealot attempting to close the range would be riddle with boltgun shells before he got close enough to activate his teleport ability.

Except, they're no more outnumbered than the Eldar. They just have a much lower demonstrable tech level, since they get ganked by guns that have MUCH less power than even bolt pistols.

That's what I hate about people arguing about how 40k is badass when the only thing that makes 40k more powerful is is massive amount of numbers, they aren't that strong individually. Hell guardsmen might have a powerful rifle but they have almost no armor, and for basic infantry no night vision or anything for CBN protection.
If the Terran Dominion was the same size as the Imperium the Imperium would be shitting itself.

Guard are meat. Their guns are crap. Astartes are physically the match of any Zealot. Their armor is TOUGH. They're VERY difficult to kill.
Necrons exceed pretty much every other polity in terms of technological advancement. And they're MUCH stronger than Astartes. Their major weakness is that they're slow in melee.

It's generally agreed that Protoss tech is more or less the same level as the Eldar and Necrons.

C-14 Gauss rifles fire ridiculous armor piercing spikes at even more ridiculous speeds, so much that they can be used as anti-aircraft guns(not even talking game mechanics here either) The bolter is basically a mini-rpg launcher in terms of action.
