Except the Orks on Octarius have forced the Tyranids into a brutal gridlock, and the Orks are getting an exponential supply of reinforcements from Boyz travelling far and wide and from their own spores.

Also, I really don't think that the old Ork fluff is invalid just yet, as it has yet to be contradicted. It isn't so much that they're an extragalactic species, just that Imperial scouting vessels that have explored the outer edges of other galaxies have found Orks to be living in them.

Not trying to sound like a massive cunt, but it's probably beyond us. I'd probably put my money on the 'Nids. Not sure why, as I've been an Ork player in the past and I dislike the 'Nids.

Whilst the Orks do their sporin' thing, the 'Nids are probably dragging their own reinforcements in in a similar, albeit more grisly, manner.

Also, does anyone remember from where that "Orks are in other galaxies" comes from? I mean, specifically?

They're involved, but didn't start the war. An Inquisitor did, actually, and the war probably won't end any time soon.

I looked it up and apparently it comes from one of the older Ork Codexes, not sure if GW has retconned it or not.

Oddly enough, the image of Kryptmann on Lexicanum isn't of Kryptmann - I'll have to check which Inquisitor it is tomorrow, as my housemate who has the 2nd Edition book that that image is in is in bed.

If it were anyone else, you could play pratical jokes with horse-themes, such as giving them a bale of straw to eat.

Hmm, if my army's already painted in a largely dark green (p. much Rifles Green) shade, will it be possible to spray it white or something, then repaint it in white and gold shades?

I'm just worrying that if I were o try and do that then it might go horribly wrong...

Nail varnish remover will strip paint from metal, or diluted dettol if plastic (assuming its the same kind (enamel) the Airfix models are painted in)

You're a lot better off removing then repainting rather than saturating it in paint.

If I'm correct in understanding that GW will be filled with Necron and other super-suped up races now, then I might just be forced to use my 500pts Leman Russ DEATH FORMATION! Otherwise, damn right I'm using Tactical Genius.
