Just admit that you find ponies attractive. There's little shame in it, and you'll rest easier.
Probably hate yourself less.

I'm comforted by the fact that it.. well...
At first I'm like: HOT!
And a few second later: Aw, what the fuck brain?
And then my brain is like: This is no longer hot, switch to humans

Mustang is a strong mare, but by no mean is silent. She let her anger get the best of her sometimes. However, despite her tough as nails tomcolt persona, she can be surprisingly sensitive behind closed doors, always willing to take the blame for failures upon herself, even if she did everything right and it wasn't her fault. She does have a love of fantasy novels which grew out of her childhood when she was growing up in Cloudsdale.
Her sense of duty and beliefs in doing the right thing, even when it would be easier to be selfish is what makes her a strong and contributing member in Equestria's military. Even though she is proud of her military service and would lay down her life for The Patriarchs and her country, she does have ambitions and goals that doesn't involve the military at all.

Eh. She's not really my cup of plot, but she's alright, I guess.

Eh, I suck at summarizing things. Trust me, once Chapters of S&S starts coming out, you'll get a better picture of who Mustang is, and hopefully you'll grow to like her.
Oh, I'm not going to read it. No offense to you or anything. I'm sure you're a great writer, I just don't really want to read any fan-fiction.
Also, that should be "matriarchs," not "patriarchs." The Princesses are female.
I always get those two mixed up, thanks for the correction.
