He's as much a supervillain as Batman is a super hero. Right? What am I getting myself into...

Hm...

I'd say Venom has always been a favourite, as well as Scarecrow and the Joker on the DC side...
And so it was, that I had never changed.

Slade/Deathstroke from the Teen Titans animated series.

Though, Mark Hamill's Joker is a close second.

That said, the Joker. I love his methodology, certain portrayals excluded. My favorite three versions are the Hamill Joker, the <Ledger Joker, and the Nicholson Joker.

EDIT: Having been reminded of him, Slade/Deathstroke from Teen Titans was astounding.

The Joker, mainly Legers performance in the Dark Knight and Mark Hamill's voice in the arkham games which were fantastic.

Luthor's probably my go-to-guy for supervillainry. Failing that, I'm sure Armless Abaddon could count, all things considered.

Oh he is. I sympathize with his goals. But not his methods. The moral ambiguity makes him one of the more interesting supervillians ever.

I liked the fact that he actually was smart. There are so many supervillains that are supposed to be "geniuses," but then they get outsmarted by the hero anyway.

I didn't really see him as a supervillain. He's a complete asshole, but that's not really the same thing as a supervillain.

True... he was portrayed in the beginning of the novel as a Villain, in the middle as a nihilistic-asshole, but much like Homelander (in the end) he was just a pawn and a victim of circumstance. http://goodcomics.comicbookresources.co ... oloch3.jpg

The same can even be said for Magneto or Dr. DOOM -or even Harvey Dent (Two-face) for that matter. All tortured individuals.
