Seriously? What is so bad about ALL the other gens? They're AMAZING! You know what would have happened if Pokemon never continued beyond the original 150? It would have gotten boring as hell. New Pokemon make the game exciting, give the player new challenges and new experiences. I love my Blastoise, Dragonite and Mewtwo, but I also love my Meganium, Tyrannitar, Gallade, Blaziken, Archeops....I can go on and on.

Well, I wouldn't go too far. Gen I was the first gen I played, even though they came out the same year I was born. 1/3 of my main dream team is from Gen I(Blastoise, Dragonite) But the other 4 are from Gen II. Seriously, if it weren't for the Chromatic Generation, we never could have gotten THIS

I played all gens, stopped because 5 is just.... no. No more. They should've stopped at 4 and left it alone. Now it's getting as old as Final Fantasy.
Scratch that, Final Fantasy changes gameplay pretty much every game here lately. Pokemon games are getting monotonous. Make all pokemon battles in 3D (Pokemon Stadium style) and you'll catch my interest again, GameFreak.

Yeah, I like Scolipede, too, as it does the fucking impossible: make me like a centipede. Those horrid abominations of hell just freak me the fuck out, but Scolipede? You don't get that. In fact, it looks kinda cute, and I never thought I'd ever say that about something related to centipedes.

Whirlipede does take some inspiration from the pill bug, but Scolipede is pretty solidly a centipede. It's also very likely based off of the Arthropleura.

Personally, as much as I'd like to call myself a "first-gen purist" I simply cannot imagine a pokémon world without pokémon like Ampharos, Breloom, Lucario, and many others. Sure, first gen is best, and will always have a nostalgic place for me with second gen, for which I was just as excited as the first one, but I've given the later gens a chance and some of their pokémon have indeed found a place straight into my heart as well.
