I'm playing as Elizabeth in a world map with 4 civs (English, Huns, Americans, Romans). I've befriended everyone, and they're literally bankrupting me since they're all poor hobo countries that keep asking me for bailouts.

Yet (not) Another Giant Earth Map Pack - Self explanatory, a map pack full of giant earth maps. There is a scenario for a massive map with real starting locations for all in game civilisations and city states, which I usually play because I like the realism.

Unlimited barbarian xp - Removes the cap on XP gained from fighting barbarians.

Cultural unit skins - Adds a number unique skins for the units of several nations, breaking up the monotony of the way units look. So a Mayan warrior looks different from a German one, etc.

Didn't Civ IV include that in one of their expansions? I wish Civ V would've done that with their latest expansion, but I guess that's asking for too much, right?

It depends what my goal in the game is; I'll be different civs for different victory targets. But I'm more of the mind that anyone can win any way with any civ, so basically it just matters how you play.

Don't take it. If you're rich, they shouldn't be able to do much against you.

Don't take it. If you're rich, they shouldn't be able to do much against you.

Or instead of giving gifts, start trading them large sums for cities. Start wittling away at them and you'll never have to war.

The trading of cities in Civ V surprised me. In III and IV, they never gave you one of their cities, however much you offered back.

For me personally, it has to be the Egyptians

It used to be Austria, but the BNW expansion nuked the usefulness of their UA. I'd have to say either Germany or France.
