"Silly Love Songs" (1976) by Wings. I was surprised to hear it at the grocery store yesterday, but I don't mind the song. It was actually a "take that" toward the critics: they complained he was writing too many sappy songs, so he went and wrote another one that's very blatant about it, with a disco influence. It actually works pretty well.

Off topic but am I the only one who, when listening to some of my favorites on YouTube, gets ads for Medicare plans? OK it's usually Steely Dan, Talking Heads, B-52s, Ramones and such but still.

The theme song from the 90s/00s sitcom That '70s Show. Performed by Cheap Trick, it was heavily based on the song "In the Street" (1972) by the band Big Star. I don't mind it.

I'm now convinced that a metal version of the Phantom of the Opera should be a thing.

Promenade Sentimentale probably the most beautiful piece of music ever written for a film, from a film I love. Trying to learn to play it on the piano, though I don't really play the piano.
