Postby The ivain isles » Fri Jul 06, 2012 5:02 pm

Just thought I'd see what else is out there, mainly because a song that I really like, called "be happy for me", is relatively unheard of, and I think, it really deserves way more attention, considering a lot of the, ah, poor quality music that's out there. If you want to check out the song it's on extreme music library. Also I think that Two steps from hell deserve a mention here, lol.

Two Steps From Hell aren't very unheard of. I also find them kinda annoying. Generic music for generic action films.

The Paper Chase, on the other hand, are one of my all-time favorite bands, and woefully underrated.

Have to say, they're good, bit more instrumental though, I like their style. As for generic music, they don't only do heavy action, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lzkwFzXkvZg one of my favs.

Agreed on the Post-Rock genre. Post-Rock has a ton of brilliant bands, but a lot of people have never heard of them. Sigur Ros is probably one of the more well-known Post-Rock bands out there.

Post-Rock:
Pg.Lost-Jura
Sleepmakeswaves-Keep Your Splendid Silent Sun
The Ascent of Everest-Return To Us
The Evpatoria Report-Eighteen Robin's Road
For A Minor Reflection-Sjáumst í Virginíu
Many others.

Music in general:
Secret Chiefs 3-Exodus. These guys have a huge variety, and apparently rarely ever freaking rehearse before shows even though they get a bunch of different people doing stuff depending on shows.
Faun Fables-A Table Forgotten
spotify:track:4RZhcAP3ClIeUTwyqBoNrn One for anyone with Spotify.
Arborea-Black Is The Colour

Good start anyway.
