The season hasn't even come out yet, and neither of those sites has any connection to the production team. They can't possibly know how long the season/series will run.

Apparently the so-called 65-episode cartoon only really applies to many Disney series. I shouldn't really be worried.

Now, it obviously won't go forever, because Hasbro will eventually end it, but it'll go for a while.

DHX will try and keep it going as long as possible because it's a stable source of income, and starting a new show requires a lot of work.
The Hub will try and keep it going as long as possible because, as a rather new station, they don't want to let go of their most popular property.
Hasbro, however, will inevitably end it in order to start Gen 5. Though, that won't happen until Gen 4 sales start to dry up.
