I just deliberately found an empty Gravel Pit server, chose Red and sat there for 5 minutes playing with my phone until I had won the round and therefore earned the Impossible Defence achievement.

Is this cheating?

Not really. There are some servers that are dedicated to farming chiev's. Another guy and I both deliberately earned the Doomsday milestone when we the only two people on the server.

There are maps that let you type !givemeall or something similar and get almost all achievements and their rewards. Of course, I got mine the RIGHT way.

I know, right? I liked the map that was just respawn areas across from each other with no glass, though. It was fun to massacre the other team with the pyro/demo/heavy.

My brother and I have one of those farming servers on our favorites. It's really just fun to abuse the weird server perks that you can ask the mods to give you (like unlimited ammo, rapid fire - which is killer with Demoman, etc.) and just waste time killing bots.

I liked the Amplifiers. They were cool.

Remind me to give you guys the IP in about an hour when I can play. That server must be shared.

That's the IP for the aforementioned server, which is sadly empty at the moment, but was much busier in the afternoons.
