Yeah. For some reason, all FT fighting games must have armor plate on infantry.

Halo itself incorporates elements of FT as well as PMT. The weapons technology is PMT, as well as the standard defensive equipment. The MJORLNIR suits are a bit of a stretch, but the early models could be considered PMT as well. They lacked energy shielding, after all.

The starships are FT, for sure, but the surface equipment may very well reside within PMT.

Considering RL MT uses armored plates, it's not much of a surprise that Halo uses them as well. Besides, when technology fails, it's better to have a solid wall between you and incoming ordnance.

RL ballistic vests have SAPI plates in them, but those aren't incredibly pronounced; they don;t stick out other than making a bulge in the vest. If Dragon Skin was made in any fictional media, you can be sure it would not have cloth covering; you would be certain to see the scales showing. It probably has to do with Rule of Cool, but it's nice to see something recognizable here and there.

Well, the UNSC had quite large periods of peace. That would constitute for minor advancements in weaponry.

The Didact's symbol appears in one of the trailers, so I'm guessing we'll eventually meet Bornstellar, his consciousness turned AI, or another Forerunner who was made into the Didact like Bornstellar was.

The MP looks like COD from the trailer, you have to rank up to unlock weapons.

Actualy that trailer was a bit misleading you see:
1-There are going to be two rank systems the actual skill system like the 1-50 and the progression system. as you level up in the progression system you ge 1 spartan point which can be spent to unlock any weapon AA (that are much more balanced this time) or armor mod( will go into those later) you want without any particular order and only normal wepons like the AR or the Carbine so that you can customize your play style ( like long or short rangge without being OP) and every map will have several Pre-Set loadouts that fit both the map and your playstile.
2-Armor mods are essentialy abilities that allow you to do minor things like having one more ammo clip or your shields regenerating a little faster.
3-there has alredy been confirmed that there will be a Classic playlist without any AA's or loadouts.
4-In the new gametype Infinity slayer you will have an Ordnance drop that will acumulated by your kills and assists during the entire game and will become exponentialy more dificult to get as the game progresses that will give you the option to get either a random weapon, a power up (like running a litle more) or a diferent AA. if you have any more doubts please ask me

I buy Halo for the multiplayer, the campaign is a cool bit I play a couple times unless it has flood. AKA Reach and ODST. No flood = No insane fun.
Also, this means no invasion.
And I forgot to mention a new armor ability that lets you look through walls, instant respawn, and no fixed weapon spawns. They're catering to casual noobs who are too stupid to memorize weapon spaws.

A) It destroys the key halo strategy. Hold the weapon spawns, unless there's a more strategic location, like the top floor or a tower. This could even cause a new run and gun strategy instead of the classic 'We need to re-take that goddamned shotgun spawn'.

B) So I just killed this noob. Now there's no penalty to sucking and he can catch me before my shields are up. Oh, and a shotgun could land right by his face. The whole point of a timer is to weaken the enemy team which loses a guy for 3-5 seconds.

Had there been no beta for Reach, nobody would have patched the glitch on boneyard where you could 'stick' to one wall and walk up it.

there will be no PUBLIC beta in Halo 4 because most people treat Betas as demos and not actual betas so they end up being meningless and aside from that Key Halo Fans and MLG players are testing the game too

NO! A MAC (Magnetic Accelerator Cannon) is a coilgun. Same idea: the manipulation of magnetic fields. Different applications: a railgun as two 'rails' on which conflicting magnetic fields are pumped through. A coilgun as a number of magnetically charged coils which do the same thing.

Railguns are impractical: due to the constant friction and contact, the parts wear out quickly. But with a coilgun, there's no actual contact (not contact that lasts, anyhow) so the parts last longer.

It's a fairly simply concept, but one that requires a shitload of power to operate on any usable scale.

Ive read the halo wiki alot but i always thought a MAC gun was a railgun, apparently not. Although the railgun in H4 looks awesome. Good way the balanced it out, one shot then you are exposed till you reload again. I think a mult shot magazine would have made the weapon overpowered.

China is actually our bitch. They only own 10% and we would destroy their economy if well pulled out all interests completely. China is effectively a house of cards that while does indeed look impressive, can easily be destroyed and will likely fall into chaos within the next hundred years, or even decades.
Besides, America could just nationalize Goldman Sachs to take over the majority of the world instantly.
But I'd rather that we just relinquish our grasp and simply fell back into the laid-back position of Britain. They help out, but they don't police the whole goddamn world.

And why kill people with napalm or missiles when you have railguns? Or chemical lasers? The military obviously does so for kicks.
