Brother Yygdrai would be a serious, straightforward businessman, ready to help others . . . in a way that makes him a quick buck, that is.

Sister Yygdrai would be more free-spirited, a highly motivated athlete who loves thrills and excitement.

They'd both be vaguely brownish (think a couple shades lighter than the America siblings) with brown hair, quite intelligent, and prone to dark humor bordering on sociopathy.
Think what would happen if you put the UK and Switzerland on an island that's half Hawaii and half Japan, and you get this country.

Politically, a slight twist on a Parliamentary system, with a young ruler dedicated primarily to education and healthcare on the throne at the moment.

Militarily neutral, does a lot of banking and arms manufacturing. Typically, they don't fight in wars, they just get blockaded from time to time so that one side loses access to Yydraii supplies.

Culturally very strange, but we have a booming entertainment sector internationally.

Socially, generally about as friendly as a bunch of people who prefer to mind their own business can be.

Climate-wise, basically half Hawaii, half England.
