The first Call of Duty, relative to its time, was one of the best game ever made, and I would argue the most important shooter since Goldeneye 64. Three was a piece a shit, k?

And I make an intentionally hilarious bad MS paint chart and you still think my opinion is meant to be taken seriously.

I stopped caring about Call of Duty after Modern Warfare 1 (COD 4) came out. I didn't really see eye to eye with the new direction of the franchise.

I just always preferred the WWII games since I was in a WWII funk back then. So I can't say I'm really looking forward to Black Ops II (or quite honestly any upcoming game atm. Unless Fallout 4 comes out and it shows that Bethesda learned from New Vegas how to do a Fallout game properly, I guess.)

I actually knew that, bro. Never did I say Bethesda made New Vegas. They made Failout 3: A Post Black Isle Roleplaying Game instead.

What I meant was that Bethesda hopefully will look to New Vegas for pointers on how to make a quality Fallout game.

Just wait till all the little kiddies and their ilk get on its multiplayer and ruin it. Then it'll truly be considered to be a Call of Duty game.

I don't know if Black Ops 1 was ever thoroughly hacked, though, but I know COD 4, WAW and Modern Warfare 2 were all thoroughly ravaged enough to be deemed unplayable.

Black Ops 2 looks a little too Cartoony for Me, to be honest the one I'm waiting for is Ghost Recon Future Soldier.

Nothing says it's a Call of Duty game like an unplayable multiplayer component, yo. We're talking hacks and boosting and other such fail up the wazoo. If Minnesota Burns is anyone to go by, the rule enforcement teams (specifically XBox Live) don't really care that much to do anything about it.

That's the one I think the SOCOM community's fled to (that is, gone to hope it will be good over) after SOCOM 4 bombed. Well, I mean the hardcore SOCOM nuts, the sort who rally around guys like Sukmyturban, who strive for SOCOM II in HD.

I'd rather see an FPS set in Arcanum's Unified Kingdom than another Call of Duty, personally. And considering how much I believe Arcanum wouldn't work outside of an isometric RPG... yeah.

(sorry for the bump)

One thing I don't get though, why has virtually NO ONE made a Korean War game? It's more than forgotten, Daedra dragged it into Oblivion.

Excuse me, sir. Seeing as how the V.P. is such a V.I.P., shouldn't we keep the P.C. on the Q.T.? 'Cause if it leaks to the V.C. he could end up M.I.A., and then we'd all be put out in K.P.

I'd like to see a World War One game myself. I'm pretty sure there's something in that conflict you can make a game out of.

search on youtube "The Trench" gameplay. :) You're welcome. It's not finished yet, but they are making a game on WW1! It's not exactly made by COD but...eh

meh, I've been bored of the Call of Duty series since MW2. While I really did enjoy enraging the community by being a noob (the community is and always will be terrible for this game).

But then again I'm more of a Battlefield kind of guy and I am eagerly anticipating the return to the brilliant 22nd century setting that I have missed for so long.

By now, we all have seen the trailer on youtube or TV. And from the looks of the trailer, it is Future Tech style game. It is robots and machines, how could they do this? It is too much like Halo! I mean, Halo is cool, but they can't fuse it with COD! They go from Cold War to somewhere around 2050? Jesus Christ... How could this happen?

Anyways, what is your opinion based on the Trailer?

I agree, they were doing good with staying along the lines of realism, but, future tech crap? They're reaching to far now.... I just hope the realize that they're screwing up... :(
