NS Minecraft Server

Hey everyone! Not sure if this is the right forum, but I've seen video game discussions here before, so I am automatically assuming a Minecraft thread is alright.

I was just wondering if any fellow Minecraft players (Mincecrafters?) want to start up an NS-exclusive server and, you know, PLAY.
Any thoughts?

I've been looking for a good minecraft server since the last one I was a member of basically fell into a civil war of the admins...so yea

I was thinking either:

a) a creative server where we all build of massive fortresses then battle each other.

or

b) a survival server where we all work together to survive. Maybe even on Hardcore mode?

I'd prefer survival. But doesn't hardcore delete the world if someone dies? Let's not do that for multiplayer.

I'm game. But we should do survival but we all have our very own Town and we can different jobs, shops, etc. We'd work on the honor system, of course, with some sort of currency.

A lot. Let's just focus on getting up and running first. Gonna need wood, a bit of stone until we start mining in earnest, and as much coal as we can find right away. At the moment though, I'm off to have a social life and get some exercise for a bit. God, what's wrong with me?

I'd like a survival world.... Anyone wanna be nomads? I think that it would be possible to survive as nomads if it is multiplayer...

Naah a village is better, and easier, i suppose we could be nomads as we get more stuff together though.

Oh and there is some option when you make a server to make it "offline" opposed to "online". Can you make sure it's on "offline" Or something like that?

My friend has a server, and for me it works better when it's set to offline. I think it has something about streaming or whatever, but can you do that? Thanks mate.
