Yeah, but that wouldn't be funny. :|

I'm just saying, that's pretty weird IMO.

And sometimes you just can't help it. When you see something that great, and Pinkie Pie describes it in such mouth-watering detail, the thought centers just shut down. I know I'd have done the same in their position.

That's no excuse. All that hard work the Cakes put into that thing, and the dumbasses ruin it like that.

Dear Princess Celestia:

Even though I knew how much work Mr. and Mrs. Cake put into their cake

and even though I knew how important it was for them that it would be entered into the competition....

even though I knew how seriously Pinkie was taking the responsibility for getting it there safely, and how she had depended on me to help her get it there, proving that the Cake's trust in her was well-placed

I was a douchebag and ruined it. So much for the spirit of loyalty, generosity, and kindness.

Your loyal subjects,

Rainbow Dash, Rarity and Fluttershy

You're starting to sound like Ameri with that negativity there. :/

any ideas on who the pony displayed in the portrait is?

Huh, that was a pretty good episode.

Yeah, the end was kind of BS with how easily the bakers forgave each other and how easily Pinkie forgave her friends. Also, how she ate the whole goddamn cake made out of the four other cakes.

Other than that the throwbacks to other movie styles were nice and Pinkie and Twi "Sherlocking" around was enjoyable.

So I'd put this episode in the top ten for this season.

List of possible occupations: a) member of the royal court IE Duke or Count, b) a military officer IE General or Colonel, c) a really fancy guy, or d) a royal family member IE King or Prince.

I noticed that during the blackout at the end, while everyone was laughing, Celestia wasn't shown. I'm sure her face was: Image

If the only way they could get to the lesson, "Don't jump to conclusions" is to make three of the mane six act like Discord was pulling their strings, then yeah, the writing wasn't very good this week.

All I know is that you're being a serious buzzkill and that everyone else (even Ameri) liked the episode.

But, hey, I guess having flawed characters who are able to make mistakes isn't that important, and a show about learning lessons on friendship should feature characters who are always perfect friends and never need to be taught a lesson about how to be better friends.

If I am being a buzzkill because I think the episode is flawed, that's your problem, not mine.

They even lied about it. "Hey, I don't even LIKE cake!" "Is it a crime to change one's style now and again?" And they all looked on silently when the others were being accused of it.

Yeah. Not really the lesson you should be teaching -- even if it was inadvertent.

Picky, picky, picky. I still think it's a great episode, and nothing you say will change that.
