Nice Fleur pic. Not so nice Rarity. D:

Also, I learned I'm not the only brony at my uni! Yay! Even some female bronies. :D
It's amusing when one of the best parties of the year is hosted by the University SciFi & Fantasy Society.

Escort Sluthooves was the fandom's way of playing that game where they act like a bunch of dicks for as long as they can before the rest of the group gets tired of it and it dies down.

I think it's Fleur-de-Lis now, as I'm not seeing much debate or many alternative tags (if there are alternatives, they're coupled with Fleur or others, they seldom stand alone).

Also nice image, Mad. For a second, I was getting a bit nervous that it was a dragon-remake.

Wouldn't have complained too much if it was, though.

Some dude i know just started watching this show, and pointed something out i never thought about.

So, episode 3... I might have found a gaping plot hole...
Rarity wants to go the Gala to impress Celestia and be introduced to her nephew...
Celestia only has one sibling that we know of, Luna... and she's been trapped in the moon for 1000 years...
So... where did the nephew come from?

1. Magic, eh?
2. Maybe she has an unheard of sibling.
3. Perhaps before Luna was banished to the moon (you have to remember the two were, ya' know, alive for a time before that all went down).
4. I think he might be very far-removed, but I've never understood how removals and 1st, 2nd, 3rd cousins worked. Never paid much attention to it when my folks tried to explain it, since I hate my distant family too much to care anyways.

I'd go with option 1.

Maybe Luna isn't the only siblings Princess Celestia has?

Celestia is married and her husband's sibling has a child.

Maybe Luna isn't the only siblings Princess Celestia has?

Maybe like in Greek mythology you've got princesses for other domains.

Course that might get a bit excessive to a point. Maybe it's just in terms of celestial bodies if that's the case.

Well in Dear Idiot (fanfic, I know), Celestia talks about the House of Unicorn, House of Earth Pony & House of Pegasi. So maybe that's what going on here? Maybe the Alicorns are like the King and Queen, and Prince Blueblood is like a Duke or something.

Theories I've heard include that a distant ancestor of Blueblood's was sort of "adopted" into the royal bloodline. I can't really say much until we get some dirt on the origins of Celestia and Luna.

Well the next episode should give us a little background on Equestrian history, so maybe we'll see how the Royal Sisters and Prince Blueblood are related?

Or, as I've been saying, it will just be a typical "This play is a mess" episode. Can't wait for next week. I'll be proven right, and be able to rub it in your face.

The last part sounds really dirty when taken out of context, and I'm giggling like an immature 12 year old at the thought of it.

In “Hearth’s Warming Eve” the six friends are honored to put on Canterlot's most important play of the season, the Hearth's Warming Eve's holiday pageant that illustrates how Unicorns, Pegasi and Earth Ponies put aside their differences and founded Equestria.

Actually, I also expect a comedy of errors - but the nature of the play is almost certain to mean that we'll at least get some tidbits that will shed some light on how Pinkie Pie got her cutie mark how Equestria was made.
