Really? Applejack had dreams of the city life before realizing how aesthetic and boring things were and returning to her humble life with her sister, brother and aged elder where she attempts to keep her business prosperous by thinking on her feet; eg, the gala.

Twilight is the wizard master and all those movies and books about the chosen one sort of make your argument here silly and redundant.
