On paper she did. Beating a godlike embodiment of chaos, a threat to all bending learning to drive somewhat - lesser Avatars like Aang can not even stand in her shadow.

Oh, nothing. Season 3 was a good finale. 1 and 2 were the kicks to qualities nuts.

To be honest I much preferred season 1's finale to all the finales after, though three had a good one. I can't really explain why I feel that way.

I agree 2 could have gone better, but wasn't the worst. In 1, Amon just fled when his waterbending was discovered! No final battle to end all battles until the next battle to end all battles! he just fled!

I got yelled at for posting random fanart...so now I'm posting a random fic instead!

Asami leaned against the doorway of the darkened room, her arms crossed. It was a rare sight, so she didn’t want to miss it. In the middle of the room, her back to the door, Korra bounced lightly on her heels in an attempt to soothe the babbling baby on her shoulder.

She moved her torso from side to side like the changing tides and Asami thought it was useful to have a waterbender raising her child with her. As the minutes ticked by, the tiny child calmed and eventually fell asleep, his large squishy cheeks making his mouth open.

But Korra didn’t stop rocking and moving around the room. It didn’t seem as if she ever saw Asami either, which was fine really, because it was such a nice show. She pressed a soft kiss to the baby’s downy hair.

"I’m really glad you’re quiet now because you are going to be such a handful when you’re older. I’m calling it now" Korra whispered, "Not that we won’t be up to it, because we will and it’s going to be amazing. You’re going to have everything you could possibly want and no one is ever gonna pick on you" She paused to brush a hand down his back.

"And you are so incredibly loved. I wasn’t even sure your mom was going to say yes to you. Dumb of me, I know. She goes with every crazy idea I have. Who knows why" she sighed. She adjusted her grip on him, careful not to wake him.

"She loves you too, you know. I see her doodling all these weird baby toys and cribs and things that she thinks you might like. She thinks I don’t know but I do. She’d probably get embarrassed. At the gala tonight you were all she could talk about- and not about that time you threw up on that really hot dress she was wearing. Nope. She talked about how cute you were and how she didn’t mind waking up in the middle of the night to put you back to sleep”

Asami stared, her heart in her throat. People always said how they wanted to hear what their partner thought about them in all honesty and she had it, right here.

"We’re still going to love each other when we’re as old as Master Katara, so you’ll never have to worry about that either. We’re here for good. How’s that sound to you, hm?" Korra pressed another kiss to his head and rested her lips there, breathing him in.

The engineer couldn’t help herself and strode forward just loud enough not to spook her wife.

"That sounds, really really good” she mumbled as she wrapped her arms around Korra’s waist.

"Hey, how long have you been here?" the Avatar asked, leaning into the embrace.

"Probably the whole time" Asami admitted.

"And how did everything sit with you?"

"Pretty good"

"Good, that’s really good"

I'd just like to point out, if someone really wanted to know what your Tumblr profile was they could search for parts of this story and try and figure out who you are on Tumblr based on that. Of course, you could be talking about a different story in which case, anonymity is achieved for sure.

No... Just no. For the record, I despise ALL shipping, especally Korrasami.

I generally don't bother with it myself. Certainly there are times when there are characters who I'd prefer end up together but it usually doesn't bother me... a good example of when it does was when this one dude died and a much cooler older character decided to die in his place so that the first dude's girlfriend (again, a more interesting character) lived.

Point is, Korra's blushing in the last episode isn't extreme enough as an event to make me care about ships. In fact, if you're unaware of Korrasami, I think you're going to read that as "a character is embarrassed to have received a compliment after having been somewhat rudely absent from the life of the complimenter for some years".
