On the other hand, it's possible that the Earth Kingdom people will unite against Kuvira later, and that will create the unity needed for a centralized republic. We'll just have to wait and see.

Indeed. Famed Moverstar and former pro-athlete, unique bending talent, has been seen to provide aid to people in need, experience in dealing with world leaders, friends with the avatar, friends with one of the richest women in the world ... he could do well in politics.

I know you can now watch Korra live on Nick but I have no idea how, every time I go to the website when an episode is about to be streamed there's no easy way for me to figure out where to navigate to find the live stream on their website.

I went to Korra then to Videos but only found clips and no livestream.

Of course no one blames Korra for her colossal screw-up in Zaofu. Yeah, why blame her for it when you can just act like she had nothing to do with it. Oh, and she has a brand new ability pulled straight out of her ass. Guess the writers couldn't wait for the finale to do that. On the upside, Varrick and Bolin were badass. So that helped.

Also, this. The KorraSami people are having a Foaming Mouth Guy moment from that blush.

And now, Season 4, Episode 7: The Reunion!

"No one expected you to handle Kuvira on your own." Well, except for some certain members of the viewing audience. You know who you are.
Korra blushing at Asami's compliment? Damn. The creators are really trying to appeal to the Korrasami shippers.
Well, we know Wu isn't dead. Unless he's a zombie! :p Okay, now I'll stop with that joke.
Looks like Wu hasn't changed. Well, maybe they'll surprise us. Maybe Wu still has some jerkish elements, but isn't a total ass like he was before.
And, after 7 episodes, I think badass Korra is finally back!
That police officer isn't gonna ask any questions about all this? Well, I suppose if that police driver knew Mako and his position as Wu's bodyguard, he'd be willing to trust him. Still, the arrival of that driver guy is a little too convenient, but I can overlook that. How else is the plot gonna quickly dispose of the Kuvira driver while also spreading the word of Wu's capture?
And the United Republic is okay with that wall? Well, considering the size of Kuvira's army, I'm not sure if Raiko felt safe saying 'no'.
Oh, so THAT'S gonna be Kuvira downfall? She's gonna mess with the spirits and the spirits are gonna strike back hard? That makes sense.

Overall, a good episode. Nice sort of transitory episode before the action starts up again.

You mean the spirit-locator thing? We saw Korra use that back in The Calling, toward the end when she saw the air kids in the swamp. I was surprised Korra's spirit-locator ability worked at the train station, especially since Korra is new to this spirit stuff, but it made sense that Korra's locator power would be weaker at the train station.

Even when she does something GOOD for a change, such as finding and saving the prince, you still antagonize her... And the locator ability is not a dues ex machina, as it was previously introduced in AVATAR THE LAST AIRBENDER, as an ability the Avatar (and possibly other spiritual/connected people) can use, and with Korra having learned how to from Toph, she naturally realized it could be used to find Wu.[/spoiler]

In this episode the plots of Avatar and Avatar merge into one...

I'm not sure what Kuvira's overall goal is at this stage. Maybe she feels as if the spirit weapons are required to take Republic City (which I believe was built on old Earth Empire territory). I think that's more in keeping with how she's been up until this point ('the great uniter') than spreading a particular way of life all over the world (which is more Sozin-esque) or conquering the world (Ozai or kind of Unalaq-esque).

Bolin has become less childlike again, which is a good thing. On the whole, though, I think Varrick and Bolin have become by far the more interesting aspect of this book.
