Well... So much for a Siege of the North style battle. I am dissapoint. That fight would have gone really differently if it'd been Kyoshi instead of Korra.

Zaofu now belongs to the Earth Empire! We are now united again, but we will not be fully united until we take back the land that had been taken away by the United Republic of Nations.

Was hoping that Kuvira had had metal buried all through the field or something (or maybe she did and didn't feel a need for it?). I'm just disappointed in both of the fighters honestly. I wasn't really expecting Korra to do great but the curb stomp battle.. eh I suppose its fair since she hasn't been in the game for awhile.

3. Opal actually lost them the city due to breaking the rules of the fight and intervening still Korra messed up by not trying to attack the spirit.

Korra lost the fucking city by losing her 700th fight. This entire situation is completely her fault.

She ran away which let Kuvira run amok unopposed.
She didn't do shit the second she saw an army outside a peaceful city.
She defended Kuvira after Su wisely tried to off her.
And she got her ass handed to her, despite being poison free.

Korra is a failure.

I kinda agree. even without the Avatar State, it should have been an easy fight. she has faced earthbenders and metalbenders before, and Kuvira had nothing powering her up. Korra could have easily taken her down, especially with the Avatar State. Though what I did like about the fight was how they used the old ALTA music during the fight!!
