So the new one? And did you seriously call them superpowers? Are you new to the Avatar universe...?

Yeah, I guess the new one - i called them superpowers because that's basically what they are, just re-labeled as 'bending'.

Okay. What didn't you like about it?
"The Nixon campaign in 1968, and the Nixon White House after that, had two enemies: the antiwar left and black people. You understand what I'm saying? We knew we couldn't make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin, and then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities. We could arrest their leaders. raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news. Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did."—former Nixon domestic policy chief John Ehrlichman

Saw the episode...
I fucking called it. I knew that Amon could take away bending powers forever, it would be the only rational way that he could be perceived as such a huge threat.

I'm also pumped for the next episode.

I think it's obvious that Amon is somehow linked to the spirit world.

They were mediocre at best. The Legend of Korra has the same terrible storytelling and poor animation style as its predecessor.

You have yet to give any specific reasons. At all. So it seems to me that you're either 1) trolling or 2) a hater.

I would take it seriously if the name of the team wasn't the "Fire FERRETS."

It is the same quality (if not better) and is written by the same people as ATLA.

I can admit to some parts being a bit meh, but the series is still very good.

Especially the animation. The animation is several times better than the beginning of TLA.

*sigh, fetches mod hat for a second*

Unless you're going to actually argue points and discuss why you think the show wasn't good, I would have to take your coming into a thread that is turning into the hangout for a bunch of people who like it just to make a bunch of unsubstantiated negative comments as likely trolling. It may be best if you take your leave and perhaps find a thread about a show or a book or a movie or type of music that you do like rather than disrupt the discussion by baiting fans of a show you clearly do not like and probably have little intention of watching further.

Everybody else; remember, don't feed trolls. I don't want to see anybody getting bent out of shape by obvious baiting.
