Aang was an 11 or 12 year old told he was the Avatar, about to be taken away from the only family he had, ran and wound up frozen for 100 years.

Korra had everything. She wanted to be the Avatar, had all the training, had a family and does nothing but mope and bitch the second something goes wrong.

I've lost count of how many times she's just rest her characterization. And a three year time-skip where she's done it again? That's the last straw. She's never gonna change.

Problem: The Airbenders have p. much vowed to do the avatar's job in her stead, after having been presented with the idea that this world doesn't really need an avatar anymore.
